Dear Gurus,
Here is my required configuration.
I installed Windows XP in my PC and at the same time i am running another virual PC with different OS.
here my customer like to configure one OS is one VLAN and other OS is different VLAN. He likes to use one NIC card only.
Both PC's should get different IP's from DHCP server( Different VLANs).
Please help to configure the same.

Janardhan

Hi,
Is that both pc's are virtual or different physical computers.
Are you saying you have one physical computer and installed another os in virtual computer which is in the same physical computer?

Hi,
OK..This is possible.
When you right click on the Virtual PC you will find Network settings like that in the you need to select "Bridge Mode" which allows you to have the base PC and virtual PC in two different network

Hi,
Configure the port as access port and see.
As in my environment we have one ESX host, in this we can create a seperate virtual network switch and assign different LAN's and the base physical to which ESX host connected is in the access port (switchport access vlanxx)
