Hi All,
I need to replace the cisco 9300 switch in stack of 2 switches as one switch is failed. Now we have received RMA.
For 2960 switches I have done the switch replacement in stack with following procedure.
1. Upgrade the RMA switch IOS version to the same one running in the stack switches
2. Remove stack cable and power cable of the failed switch and remove it from stack
3. Add the new RMA switch in stack by connecting stack cables and then power it.
Is it the correct procedure for 9300 model?

Same process except, for IOS-XE, the firmware must be either in Install mode or Bundle Mode (not both).
