Replacing an ESP-5 module on ASR1002 router any steps i need to take before i reload the router?

I have been assigned the task to replace a faulty ESP-5 module. Any steps i need to take before i replace the module?

Any advice is appreciated.

There isn't any special.  Just make sure to save the config and have a good backup of the config before turning off the router and replace the ESP.
