Replacing Nexus 3k with new 3548

Currently we have two Nexus 3K running deployed with vPC. We are going to upgrade to 3548s. Looking for least amount of downtime.

Since vPC Domain can only have 2 peers. What would be the least impact on getting the new switches in. Create a new VPC domain for the new switch's and then interconnect old and new. Then move one of the vPC links from the clients to the new vPC Domain?

Should work. In addition to the new vPC domain ID on the new set of switches, you need a Portchannel for interconnecting the old set to the new set. Once everything is configured on the new set, you can move over one client at a time. Please make sure you do this in a maintenance window just in case something goes wrong.
