Hi guys
I was trying to get through the configuration of the 2960x switch, but something went wrong. Apparently I can't reach it anymore with its default IP, 10.0.0.1. I wanted to reset the configuration to factory defaults by pressing the mode button for 10 seconds, but it doesn't work.
The other LED's keep blinking and the switch doesn't reboot itself. Any suggestions about how to do this? I don't have a console cable, unfortunately ...
Thanks!

Hi @MHeymans
Unfortunately, you need a console cable to do the factory reset.
Pressing the mode button only interrupts the booting and lets you delete the config.text and vlan.dat files
I leave this lonk with the process:

I tried your step-by-step and 2960-X does not accept my input. I am using minicom (/dev/ttyS0 9600 8N1) and I can see all output but my input is ignored.
I am using the last firmware (c2960x-universalk9-tar.152-7.E3.tar) which was applied via web interface. After apply I could do FactoryReset+ExpressSetup (Mode button) but I can't anymore. The configured default ip (10.0.2.3 after ExpressSetup) is not accessible.

Hey there-
I've got a 2960X also. Try it one more time for about 25-30 seconds.
Also- have you reset the switch in this manner before now?
