Revert to old OS on Nexus OS

Hello All,

I am following the procedure to upgrade Nx-OS on nexus 5000 & 7000 switches as
given in Cisco documentation.
My doubt is, if after upgrading the switches(one of them or both in a cluster) there is a need to revert back to the old OS/config,

how can this be done?
Will changing the boot statement to the old Nx-OS be viable? How does this work in case of nexus, as fex's are attached.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Once you upgrade to a newer version or downgrade to an older version, the 5000 or 7000 switch will upgrade or downgrade the FEXs.  Think of a FEX being a blade connected to the chassis. When you upgrade or downgrade the main switch,  blade will be upgraded or downgraded as well.
