Hi ,
We would like to implement Router-map on the core switch(C3560 model) and map it to VLAN3 interface.
Here is the configuration :
-------------------------
access-list 10 permit 10.40.58.0 0.0.0.255
access-list 10 permit 100.101.0.0 0.0.255.255
router-map leak_BLAN permit 10
match ip address 10
set next-hop 10.40.56.60
route-map BLAN permit 20
------------------------
But where this router-map should be implemented, but unfortunately “ip policy “command is not supporting in interface level (VLAN 3).
Cisco 3560 switch is rouning on "c3560-ipbasek9-mz.122-50.SE5/c3560-ipbasek9-mz.122-50.SE5.bin"
Any assistance would greatly be appreciated.
Thks
Sri

Hi,
.
This is an example of output from the show sdm prefer routing command entered on a switch:
Switch# show sdm prefer routing
"desktop routing" template:
The selected template optimizes the resources in
the switch to support this level of features for
8 routed interfaces and 1024 VLANs.
#
number of unicast mac addresses: 3K
number of igmp groups + multicast routes: 1K
number of unicast routes: 11K
number of directly connected hosts: 3K
number of indirect routes: 8K
number of policy based routing aces: 512
number of qos aces: 512
number of security aces: 1K
#
The reason I ask is that there are certain unsupported configurations which prohibit the configuration from be applied. However the route-map can still be applied in this case but will throw an error in the process. For example, the only issue that I can find regarding PBR on 12.2(53)SE1 is as follows:-
(Catalyst 3750 or 3560 switches and Cisco
EtherSwitch service modules) A route map that has an ACL with a
Differentiated Services Code Point (DSCP) clause cannot be applied to a
Layer 3 interface. The switch rejects this configuration and displays a
message that the route map is unsupported. There is no workaround.

May be u can do like this:plz download this IOS 122-55.SE1 . This is a new release of cisco for 3560. in this software there is a support for route-map to interfac
same issue:

Hi Srikanth,
2 things to check -
1) are you running IP services/Advanced service (eg. not IP Base). You need to be.-
2) if you are running the right feature set have you enabled the SDM routing template.
