stupid question maybe, but are you running an Enterprise IOS on your switch ? IP Base does not support Policy Based Routing...

Can you post the output of 'show version' ?

Navaz,

you have the Enterprise version, that is fine. Do you happen to have any static routes configured on your 4506 ? If possible, post the entire config of the switch, it might be a small detail you are missing.
