Route Redistribution Explained

Hi ,

i have two link in my company first link 20M download 20M upload , second link  20M download 1M upload .

i have create a PBR to forward some users to to go through second link  .

My Question is there any way to chose the first link for only upload traffic  for all users

Hello,

Depending on the topology and routing protocol you could cost the links appropriately so that links 1 & 2 are equal cost for download and have link 1 primary for up load. For example if using OSPF, on the far end of the links the OSPF cost would be the same, yet on the near end the cost of the link on R2 would be greater than that of R1 for the upload. Similarly with EIGRP you would adjust the delay metrics.
