Hello,

I have a router 2600, IOS IOS (tm) C2600 Software (C2600-I-M), Version 12.3(10), RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc3).

Memory:

28672K/4096K bytes of memory.
32K bytes of non-volatile configuration memory.
8192K bytes of processor board System flash (Read/Write)

The currrent IOS does not allow for SSH to the router.

I have some images for this router but they all require more memory.

I have two concerns about upgrading this router:

1. I believe I have o upgrade both flash and dram.

2. From the my current IOS, above, what would be the next IOS I would have to go to to get the SSH option and also SDM.

Thanks in advance.

Helder

Personally, I'd recommend you get a slightly newer ISR G1 instead of trying to get the 2600 to work.  The 2600 is already very old.  You'd be hard-pressed to find more memory and DRAM.   Plus a lot of the components are starting to fail.
