Hello Everyone,
Can anyone tell me the lowest platform router that can take the Cable WIC card and the ADSL WIC card and run them both at the same time? Would like to be able to load share the bandwidth as well.
Thanks in advance! All replies rated!

Hi Angel,
Not sure what the speed of your cable is, but you can get a 2811 router and add multiple WICs to it.
load balancing become defficult when you have different cards with differenyt speeds

If it's only WIC card (no NME cards) then 1800 would also work. But the underlying question would be what bandwidth are you expecting to push?

We need to be able to push around 30Mbps

Look at the Portable Product Sheets – Routing Performance for your perusal. Remember that the numbers under "Fast/CEF Switching" and Mbps is quoted in HALF Duplex and no encryption.
At 30 Mbps (full duplex) of unencrypted traffic then a 2811 would be a good fit. If you are going to need encryption then a 2901 is a good candidate.

I'd use a 1941 for that. Plenty of power in a small space.

There will be a need for encryption and QoS. Suggestions?
