Router throughput Mpps

Hi All,

Does any one have a calculation values of the throughput of Cisco routers. Based on various reports(miercom, sprient, tolly, imix) and testing I found these values,

2801 - 2mbps

2811 - 4mbps

2821 - 8mbps

2851 - 12mbps

3825 - 25mbps

3845 - 45mbps

All the above values include all services enabled like ACL, QOS, NAT. Can any one share the plain throughput and services enabled througput of all the routers. Kindly dont post the routerpeformance sheet, since the values mentioned in it are way high than the real time.

Please share your experience on the same and help.

Take the reference sheet information provided by Leo, then divide CEF performance by 4.  I've found this often provides a rough figure for practical usage.

PS:

Why 4?  Divide by 2 to account for we usually want to route or switch duplex traffic, and divide by 2 again to allow for other services with some CPU headroom.
