routing issue

Hai experts,

we have cisco 3640 router we configured as head office to branch office connectivity for data transfer its working fine in that 3640 router we have nm-8am modele iam trying to configure that if i give group range strangely all my serial links is down.iam unable to find the solution.plz any body can help how can i configre the router to ras using single pc and dialup modem with out any distrbance of serial link.(if one serial is own dialup has to takecare)

plz can i get any examples and any body as done this set up.

thanks for ur reply my server is database server and my set up is---

remotepc using dialupmodem------3640 router having NM-8a/sand NM-8am module----lan--data server.

now my issue is when ever this serial line is down automatically dialup has to take care.

i received ur documents and i tried but ehenever i configure async group all my serial links is down .so iam requesting u to plz gfive me examples for remote pc dialup to router and access to our database server.

i hope u give a reply.
