RPS2300 Power Consumption

Does anyone have any information on measured power consumption of an RPS2300 (say with 2 x 750W supplies) when it's "idling" i.e. ready to backup but not activated by failed supply in switch?

We are planning a configuration of one RPS2300 (with dual 750W) backing up two 3750E-24 (non POE) switches and I need to determine operating power consumptions for 1) prior to any trips and 2) with loss of supply in switch.

Other than max input current in 2300 data sheet, I can't find anything on power consumption of 2300.

I was told by cisco engineer that in the idle mode RPS with 2x750W power consumption depends on temp in the rack and other enviromental conditions.

After all he suggested me to use estimate 100W (AC, 200V) per power supply in RPS, so in your case with 2x750W it would be 200W in idle mode.

Seems like too much for the idle mode for me, but I have no other authoritatative answer...
