RSTP Slow Convergence - Rapid Spanning Tree

Hello!

I am experiencing slow RSTP convergence times between 27-30 seconds, instead of the 2-3 seconds.

I have a 4 node setup which can be seen in the attached picture. 2* Cisco 9500 joined over a 20GB Stackwise Virtual Link with 2* Catalyst 9000 coming off each of them.

My problem begins with when I switch off the te1/1/1 which connected directly to the 9500, it then takes around 30 seconds to converge through te1/1/4 to establish a link.

It turns out, during testing I was telnet into the switch via the USB cable, and not using the NIC on the switch. So the problem was PortFast was not enabled on the port my laptop was connected to.
