Hi,
I have connected an HDMI-Over-IP transmitter on LAN1 and the matching receiver on LAN9 on the RV325. It works flawlessly; the video is shown on the remote screen perfectly. My issue is that the entire network is flooded with the multicast packets at a rate of approximately 85mbps. So, I created a VLAN. I tagged ports 1 and 9, set the remaining 12 ports to excluded, statically mapped the MAC/IP's of the HDMI devices onto the new VLAN's IP subnet. The multicast data still floods the whole network; it is not contained within the VLAN.
What am I doing wrong? Thank you for any insights you can provide.
