Hi,
I have OSPF Process 100 running for my existing network with loopback id: 100.100.100.1 which is advertised as Router-ID as well.
Now i have a new factory coming that also needs to be connected with my existing network. For this process i created another OSPF process 200.
Routes between old & new network needs to be shared so i redistributed the old netowkr in new OSPF Process 200......
My question is: can i use the same Routers ID in Process 200 as well??....
Rgds,
Partha

Hi Partha,
Each OSPF process running on the router needs a unique Router ID

No, you cannot use the same router id for both OSPF process.
