SDM Prefer Not Working

Im running a lab, and when I do 

show sdm prefer 

on my switch it says error at marker

I've read that the SDM commands work on 3750-x which date as far back as 2004, so unless my switch image isn't handling it due to the platform is there another reason for this?

Switches do not support "frame-relay". That is for routers.

What happens if try this:

config t

sdm prefer default

Also, if the switch is running LAN based feature, sdm routing is not supported.
