Hi,
Can you post the output of the show license command? This seems like you're running only a LANLITE license set. For routing support, you need to run LANBASE license set.
Best regards,
Peter

Can you try more up-to-date release, e.g.
08-30-2012 10:24 AM
sdm should be in 12.3 and up as I recall, but will try.
Thanks

Peter was right, you switch is running with lanlite license. You switch model is WS-C2960S-24TS-S, so it should be using lanlite license (lanbase ends with -L).
Catalyst 2960S image ships with universal image and the software image on the switch is either the LAN base or LAN Lite image, depending on the switch model.
And you cannot upgrade it to lanbase.:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/switches/ps5718/ps6406/qa_c67-577519.html
Q. Can I upgrade or downgrade a Cisco Catalyst 2960 Series Switch between the LAN Base and LAN Lite images?
In other words, the feature set is fixed during manufacture.
Kind Regards,
Ivan Shirshin
