Service Instance in Cisco 2950 switch

Hi, 

    When I create a service Instance in a Cisco 2950 switch by entering the command

Switch (config-if)# service instance 22 Ethernet 

I get an error

Switch (config-if)# service instance 22 Ethernet 
% Invalid input detected at   '^'  marker

Any help regarding this will be great.

Very old switch i don't believe they support EVC instances feature , you can check with ...... service ?
it will show you what options you have
