Service Layer Design

Hi,

We are going build a Data Center considering the Cisco Nexus product. I have gone through with the related documents (VMDC and SAFE documents). We are planning to use N7K (VDC, VRF), ASA, LB etc.

I have confusion/queries regarding traffic flows on Service Layer in the design. It seems to me SAFE and VMDC have different flows on service layer.

Can any one suggest me any idea and/or links which I should gothrough to have a complete (at most) idea about design and implementation of Service Layer.

Depending when the document was written, some design guides refer to it at the, "Services" layer and others refer to it as the "Aggregation" layer.
