Hello,
I am the IT for a company that has several L2 switches with two Private LANs (I have 3 VLANs because we have also public addresses). There are two default gateways for these LAN. So the scenario:
1 Default VLAN for main LAN (wich has DHCP)
1 Vlan for 2ndary LAN (and a different gateway -> diff router)
1 VLAN for public addresses (same router as 1st, but different interface)
Also I have about three LACP to the Root switch.
And i'm considering arranging a different LAN (+ VLAN) for the Guest WiFi Network.
We are about to change this soon, on a new space (near the old). I want to maintain my star switching schema and i'm considering to implement a new LLayer 3 switch to connect the 2 ISP routers plus several severs, NAS, ETCs and the (old) root switch.
May I LACP (or CIsco LAG) from the old setup? I saw that you can only LACP on default VLAN. But if I need to LACP to the 2nd LAN? Will layer 3 help me?
Thank you for your help.
