SF500 and

I need simple techincal support as per following Scenario

Our existing site contains Cisco Switch C3750G-12S-S, whereas our new site is composed of 2 Nodes.

Node 1 has 3 Stackable switches and Node 2 has 4 Stackable Switches.

Both Nodes shall be connected to the main existing Site via fiber cable.

We need a solution that allows us to connect the C3750G-12S-S ( Existing site)  to the SF500-24P ( nodes)  via fiber optic tranceivers  that allows full Fiber SFP compatibility.

I got to this solution but I need experince confirmation:

MGBSX1 Gigabit Ethernet SX Mini-GBIC SFP Transceiver from SF500 side and GLC-SX-MMD from C3750G-12S-S side using multimode fiber optic cable 9 less than 500 m )

would you please confirm if this will work

Hi I would move this to the Lan switching or small business section , you will get more replies than the Café area
It should work fine though both transceivers support MM and both are the correct transceivers for their devices and supported , lc-lc om3 cable should work fine if you have that , both have identical hardware capabilities too so they should sync easily

Heres the 1gb matrix for catalyst

sf400 shows your MX sfp too as supported
