SFP Compatablity

Can some one help me out figuring if we can use 100-FX SFP on one end and 1g SFP on the other end if they are both mm or sm???

No you can't. They may operate at the same wavelength but at different rates.

Hi,

No, both sides have to match.  You can't change the speed on fiber port from 1Gig to 100Mb.

Both sides need to have 100Mb SFPs or Gig SFPs.
