SFP vendor not supported

Hi All,

i have 2 issue with my Nexus 3548

1-  when i insert  GLC-SX-MMD into Nexus 3548P-10G port i got SFP vendor not supported if i check the interface however this is the original CISCO SFP and at the same port the 10G SFP+ from Cisco is working fine , and i am already tried the speed 1000 on this interface , and when i configure the command to allow third party SFP the link goes up , any advice regarding this

2- second issue : i connect the 10G to the core switch 4503 and another link to another edge switch from Cisco

the link between core and nexus is trunk and there is already vlan interface configured on each one and another access link between the nexus and the cisco edge switch , i can ping from nexus to the edge switch and also can ping from core to edge  but the problem that i am not able to ping from core to nexus and vise verse , how ever when i make debug ip ICMP on nexus and ping from core to nexus i can see packets come from core to nexus also i can find the core by using show cdp on nexus

very confusing appreciate any help
