SG200 - Link Aggregation - increase speed

Hi,

I’m struggling with topic of Link Aggregation in my home LAN for while already. I have SG200-26 26-Port

My goal:

Connecting two or more nodes to get speed between them higher than 1 Gigabits.

Eg. FreeNAS server with zfs pool – 4x HDD in RAIDZ – 3x1Gbits ===> VM hypervistor Proxmox or Xcp-ng – 2x1Gbits

LAG1 - FreeNas - VLAN20 - 3 ports

LAG2 - XCP or Proxmox - VLAN20 - 2 ports

LACP on, IP/MAC

Unfortunately speeds between these computers I have still max 1Gbits. When I’m connecting to FreeNAS from third source – Windows etc. – then LAG1 on FreeNAS is given bigger speed – 2 Gbits.

My questions:

Is it possible to get 2-3 Gbits connection between two computers using Link Aggregation or this advantage of using it, is only when more computers want to connect to server?

Generally, only high end Cisco switches support hashing options which may allow two hosts to benefit from a multi-link Etherchannel.
