SG220-50P 50-Port Amber POE Lights all wrong

Hi All

I have a SG220-50P 50-Port Gigabit PoE Smart Plus Switch.

When I setup POE ports on the unit and plug them in.

I get some strange behavior.

I get amber light appearing on ports 1-4 without anything plugged into them.

what POE configuration did you do?

please see extract from Datasheet -ports1-4 different from rest

Switches support 802.3af, 802.3at, and Cisco pre-standard (legacy) PoE on port 1 to port 4 with maximum power of 30 W per port; switches support 802.3af and Cisco pre-standard (legacy) PoE on other RJ-45 ports with maximum power of 15.4 W per port

Hi Richard

I have attached the POE properties and settings screen capture.

I dont have anything plugged into ports 1-4, but they are showing power in the "PoE status - On".

But then I have devices plugged into ports 12-15 that have power from ethernet, but show in the PoE settings section as "PoE Status - Searching"

Am confused from what the config tells me to what I am actually getting phycially from the POE ports
