Hi, I enabled DHCP server on a SG300-10MP 10-Port Gigabit PoE Managed Switch and created a network pool of 191 IP Addresses (192.168.1.10 to 192.168.1.200) with a lease time of 10 minutes.
My problem is that the assigned IP addresses expire and stays in "Address Binding", so the number of leased addresses just keep on going up. Eventually it won't be able to assign IP addresses anymore. I would have to manually go in and delete all the expired IP addresses in Address binding.
How can I make this process automated? The expired IP Addresses should just go back into the network pool and be ready to get re-assigned again; isn't that what the lease time is supposed to do?
The system is operating in L3 mode.
