I have a customer that decided to deploy, against our wishes, an SG300-10PP. So we have configured it and deployed it for them. After verifying we can manage it via ssh or http/https, we walked away knowing any other issues could be handled remotely.
Since then the device has lost power and/or been rebooted. When it reboots, the IP address we have assigned to the native vlan (999) stays, but suddenly the uplink port to the neighboring switch changes the native to vlan 1 (which has no IP address); therefore, we lose the ability to manage it.
Does anyone know what causes this?
