SG300-28P Rebooting when connected to Meraki network

Have a bit of an odd situation with an SG300-28P.

The switch performs just fine when connected to various peripherals (local PCs, media players, etc) however is thrown into a reboot cycle as soon as it's connected to the larger building network by way of an access port. The building network is comprised of a number of Meraki switches, the SG300 is connected to a port on one of the Meraki switches also configured as access.

The switch F/W was updated to 1.3.7.18 however this did not improve the situation. Temporarily have a Netgear unit dropped in which doesn't seem to have issues. Any thoughts on what the cause might be?

 - Check logs on the SG300 when that happens , or better : configure a syslog server on it ,
