- Issue show logging on both platforms , after the command has been tried. Perhaps more info can be obtained. If problems persist also have a look at the current software version being used both on the source and destination platform, consider upgrading if too old software is being used. Finally to determine of either the source or the destination is the cause of the error message , try telnetting to something else ( a Linux host e.g,) , which is different from the original telnet-destination.
