HI All
I have a stack of 4 SG550X-48 switches. I am using them for a IPTV system so most of the endpoints ate IPTV decoders. if I load the first switch in the stack with more than 10 endpoints all switches in the stack will drop multicast packets almost like clockwork at 60 second intervals. but if switch 1 has 10 or less endpoints no dropped multicast packets in the entire stack. it seams that when stacked the SG550X switch 1 does all of the IGMP processing for the stack I cant find any documentation that says this but it is a theory for now. Has anyone else seen this behavior and if so is unloading switch 1 in the stack the only way to fix it?

Hi
do you have IGMP snooping enable?

I have IGMP enabled and it is working as it should or at least making the groups as it should. Wireshark on any port will only show the stream that should be going to the end device.
