Hi,
I'm getting the following included in the output of a 'show controllers ethernet-controller gi0/1' command:
24232 0 Addr Cmp frames
10392864 1 Addr Cmp frames
23787137 2 Addr Cmp frames
It's a trunk port connected to a WS-C3524-XL, but I can't find in anywhere in the documentation on Cisco.com that actually explains what these counters are. Can anyone enlighten me?
Cheers,
Steve

CMP refers to the Cluster Management Protocol. Looks like you have configured clusting on this device. This document might help: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/switches/ps607/products_tech_note09186a00801347f8.shtml

Thanks for your response - unfortunately I inherited this set up from elsewhere. The link looks useful though.
Am I right in thinking that Cisco does not recommend using Clustering these days?
Cheers,
Steve
