Mine is a similar question to the initial question on this thread.
I do not quite understand the licensing scheme.
I also ran the #show license command in the following switches;
WS-C2960-24TT-L
WS-C3560X-24T-E
WS-C3750X-48P-L
WS-C4948E-F
they all returned nothing.
Error message;
Switch1#show license all
^
% Invalid input detected at '^' marker.
The intention is to replace the switches and I was hoping to get the license information
and see if I can transfer it to the new switches.
Reza Sharifi mentioned that older switches dont make use of license, so I want to know if the
2000 series
3000 series and
4000 series switches do not have licenses.
If yes, when replacing a standalone switch(after moving the IOS and config files),
do I need to worry about license problems with the new switches?
