For egress,my understanding was
- a packet always has a DSCP value (default is 0)
- a packet can only have a COS value only if it has a vlan tag (derfault 0)
Therefore all outgoing packets should show in the outgoing DSCP statistics
Less should show in the COS packets (assuming not all packets have a vlan tag)
All packet show in the output queue enqueued, (less those in the dropped ?)
Then why is the
DSCP total = 177227 packets
COS total = 178883 packets
Egress total = 182152 packets
Secondly, packets in DSCP 16 are mapped to 4/2
But nothing appears in 3/2 queue
whereas DSCP 46 26 and 40 map successfully.
Is something overriding the DSCP settings on egress, if so what have I got wrong
