show platform hardware capacity - % of processor memory consumption for linecard

Hi,

I have a 7609 ROUTER with dual sup 720-3BXL. In slot 1 there is a WS-X6704-10GE line card.

I have noticed in the output of the command "show platform hardware capacity" that the % of Processor memory consumption for the slot 1 line card (WS-X6704-10GE ) keeps in 66%. I have also realoaded the whole device, and after the reload and without receving traffic of any sort, the value still keeps in 66%.

Anyone can help me know the reasons or why it keeps over 66%?

as the value is above 60% could it impact the device or the traffic of the line card?

I have another 7609 router with the exactly the same hardware and software configuration and heavy loaded with traffic, but the for thta same model linecard the value is in 40%

Hi Carlos,

High CPU on WS-X6704-10GE CFC/DFC is a known issue. Please see the following:

There is no impact to the forwarding of traffic/performance on the linecard.
