I have problem with configuration as below:
(a) Switch 2960G (Giga 0/46) ---(3 pair)--- PC << Worked
(b) Switch 2960G (Giga 0/46) ---(3 pair)--- Linksys SE2800 (8 port Unmanaged) ---(3 pair)--- PC << Worked
(c) Switch 2960G (Giga 0/46) ---(3 pair)--- Cisco SG95D-08 (8 port Unmanaged) ---(3 pair)--- PC << Not Worked
(d) Switch 2960G (Giga 0/46) ---(4 pair)--- Cisco SG95D-08 (8 port Unmanaged) ---(4 pair)--- PC << Worked
Switch Configuration
interface GigabitEthernet0/46
switchport access vlan 4
I use 3 pair (orange white,orange;green white,blue;blue white,green) for Ethernet and 1 pair (brown white,brown) for telephone.
In the case (a) (b):
+ PC could connect to internet.
In the case (c):
+ Doesn't have signal between Switch 2960G and Cisco SG95D-08 although I change another cable (3 pair also)
++ Did not have any error on Switch 2906G log
++ GigabitEthernet0/46 is down, line protocol is down (notconnect)
+ Worked if I change normal cable (the case (d))
Anyone can help me explain why Cisco SG95D-08 not worked in the case (c).
