I have a home FiOS router provided by my ISP. Internal IP of this router interface is 192.168.7.1. It has a 4-port switch. I used one of the switch ports and connected it to a Linksys SD2005 5-port switch. All hosts get there IP address from my DHCP server located on the same 192.168.7.0/24 subnet. Here's the problem:
I have a Cico 1811 router. It has 2 L3 FastEthernet ports and 8 L2 switched ports. How do I provide connectivity from the FiOS router to the 1811 router?
I would like to create a VOICE VLAN 192.168.8.1/24 on VLAN 50. I would like my DATA VLAN to be VLAN 10. I need to route traffic between both VLANs. Do I need a total of 3 networks? - One for FiOS internal router interface, One for VLAN 10, and one for VLAN 50? What is the best way to set this up?
Thanks...
-Joe
