Simple networking question. PLEASE HELP

LOCATION DESCRIPTION

Location 1: is my laptop logged into the network.

Location 2: has 3 machines with one of them using citrix into location 3

Location 3: The citrix server

ALL LOCATIONS HAS 1 SWITCH AND 1 ROUTER and the network is managed by verizon.

Normally everything works well.

THE ISSUE

From location 1, I have a problem remotely logging into all machines at location 2.

Location 2 is having trouble logging into citrix at location 3. What makes it funny is I can still ping all 3 machines at location 2.

All of a sudden I can remotely log into all the machines, and now location 2 can log into the citrix server at location 3.

Is it possible that there is a networking issue? My colleagues are telling me no, but I beg to differ. According to them once I can ping the machines on location 2 the issue is no longer a "Networking" issue.

Can someone please enlighten me on this.

Have checked, Citrix Licence policy??

2) Put one more machine at Location-3 , cionfigure simple website 2-3 Pages. Access that and observe same issue.

3) After if citrix machine is not in productions, configure any web server or file server on it.

Access the same server when are yo logging from location.

See what happen.

Do ping continue start... the time of same observation. So you can analyse. Where is the root cause.

If it is problem with citrix application... please ask to CITRIX specialist.

the thing I'm trying to find out is, is it safe to say "networking" is not the issue. The problem resolved itself. Machines at location 2 has reached the citrix server at 3, and also location 1 can now remotely log into every machine at location 2. In my opinion, it had to be a networking error somewhere at the switch, router, or even verizon with location 2. Their ruling is, if you can ping it, no way is it a networking issue. I don't agree.
