Simple Question: how to find the VTP server?

Hi,

I have about 50 switches on network and is there an easy way to find out which switch is running as the VTP server? I know majority of the switches are running in transparent mode...we do not have any switch running in client mode...

Any suggestions?

Hello YS,

Simply run:

show VTP Status -- command and there you can find the server ip address.
