Simulation windows on packet tracer

I am trying to send a ping from one PC to another PC. In real time window ping succeeds, but when I send the same ping using "simulation" windows it hangs, ping doesn't go. Please, if you have any idea from your experiences....

too many devices or all packets /frames are listed in sim mode;  switch back and select "none  packets" then edit, and select ping/icmp, arp only as to show during sim mode; now switch back to sim mode; it should work
