Hi Everyone
Happy New Year!
We have Client they have DMVPN network from 3 offices to Central hub site.
One office has 10MB Wan connection from the ISP to Hub site and it is new setup.
Router port connected to ISP is hard coded as full duplex and speed of 10 as ISP also have hard coded at their end.
When users did test from there PC the download speed is upto 8 MB but upload seed is only half MB.
Setup at office is as below
PC---Switch ----Router ---ISP Router.
I checked the CPU utilization on switch and router it is normal.
Wan port has no errors.
Need to know is there any thing i can do on my end to increase the upload speed?
Regards
Mahesh

Hi Mahesh,
Download speed of 8Mb on a 10Mb circuit is not bad. Regarding your upload speed, talk to your ISP. Some ISPs with give a lager bandwidth for download then upload. If you have a contract/SLA with ISP for 10 up and 10 down, then open a ticket with the provider, so they can run some tests on your circuit and send you the results. Also, make sure your router can handle the speed and it is configured correctly.

Hi Reza,
ISP says all is good from their end.
Here is Router port config that connects to ISP
interface FastEthernet0/0
description << INTERNET >>
ip address x.x.x.x
ip access-group 139 in
ip nat outside
ip virtual-reassembly
rate-limit output 496000 93000 186000 conform-action transmit exceed-action drop
ip tcp adjust-mss 1300
load-interval 30
speed 10
here is tcp mss set to 1300 is this ok?
Also there is rate-limit is this ok?
Any thing i check on my side to make sure all is good?
Regards
MAhesh
