Hi Please see the below config, are these four commands making sense? Can we use one command to replace the four command? Thank you

R1(config)#do sh run | i snmp
snmp-server community abc1 RO 1
snmp-server community abc2 RO 2
snmp-server community abc3 RO SNMP-RO
snmp-server community abc4 RO SNMP-RW

Hello,

All four commands say that a user authenticating with a particular community can only access the device through SNMP from the IP addresses allowed in the ACL specified at the end of these commands. These commands cannot be "merged" into a single one because each one of them limits the access for a different community. Even if the ACLs were identical, these commands still specify four unique community strings - if they didn't, accessing the device using these communities would fail outright since the communities would not be created.

So it's not because of the ACLs that these four commands cannot be merged; rather, it is due to the four distinct communities that still need to be created one by one.

Please feel welcome to ask further!

Best regards,
Peter
