SNMP OID for link up and link down - IOS 12.4 Router

Hi Guys,

i dont play with snmp everyday and need to respond to urgent requirement. 

Can somebody tell me exact OID for link up and link down for Cisco IOS 12.4. I am currently testing 3640 in GNS3 so for my testing purpose it will suffice. Also please let me know the actual way of finding SNMP OID for any trap that is generated by Cisco Router IOS.

Hello, 

The trap is the following :

conf t : 

snmp-server enable trap  | linkup | linkdown |

And the MIB for this is the IF-MIB, you can find the respective information about the trap and the OIDs in the following links :
