Hey everyone!

I've been wondering, what is the best way to make sure my switches have the most current and up to date image on them??

Is there somewhere I should be looking to make sure I have the "Best" image running on my switches??

Hi @Zachary Ballard,

Generally, the best IOS for your switch is the newest, since they correct the bugs that are reported.

You just have to look up the model of your devices and verify which is the latest version for them.

Hi

If you have Cisco Prime, you can get a report with it by enabling the compliance module.

You also have Cisco smart Collector portal.

Or you can run a script, getting all informations and upload it to Cisco MyDevice portal. Afterwards you can get a report with recommended software for each devices (https://cway.cisco.com/mydevices/devices)
