span port configuration to listen to specific traffic only

Hi all,

Is it possible to configure the span(switch port analyzer) port and restrict it to only listen to ingress and egress of TCP/1433 from the source port?

Pls advise, thks in advance.

Hi don li,

I dont think you'll be able to to use SPAN to listen on specific port. but you can use VACL, but that will depend on the model of your switch.
