spanning tree change detection

Hi all, I have seen a function on nortel that turns off change detection for spanning tree on the port, so that it does not send out tcn changes to the network. do cisco switches have this feature ?

portfast on the switchport disables the receipt of any bpdu's, & bpdu filter on port restrict the port from sending bpdu.
