Hi everybody,
I have a question that maybe could be a silly question, but I have to ask it. If I have a redundant topology and disable Spanning Tree on all the switches except one, what's the difference if I set Spanning Tree on all the switches? Maybe the figure can explain better my question.
I disabled Spanning Tree on all the switches except Multilayer Switch0. It appears to blocked a port because Spanning Tree Protocol, so no loops are gonna appear. Is it make any sense if I set Spanning Tree on the other switches? What will happen if I won't do it?
Thank you in advance for your help.

Hello
I assume these switches are all layer 2 interconnected ?
if so and you don't enable stp then there is a good chance a loop would occur in the future
it only takes some misconfiguration on a swich, faulty teamed server or an inadvertently cross connection between two switches to introduce a loop and bring down your entire LAN
So personally I would suggest enable it on all switches

Diego,
Totally agree with Paul (+5)
You look to have a physical ring in your design.
You would be mad not to run STP on all switches.
Prevention is better than cure.
Tryin to fault on a looping lan especially if you are remote can be be
extremely taxing.

Hi, Paul and Alex
Thanks for your help. Now I'm sure about enabling STP on all switches.
Greetings.
