there are no any relation between two group,
first in STP you must config the MODE
1- PVST or R-PVST
2- MST
3- IEEE (STP)
4- RSTP

then for port connect to Host you can use
portfast + BPDUguard

no, group 2 rapid-pvst include port fast

you confuse again,
rapid-PVST is called rapid because of it merge two stp phase (learn and listen) in one phase learn.

Portfast is bypass learn of rstp

Or

Bypass learn and listen of stp.

In both mode you can use portfast.

i am talking about function. so that when we use rapid-PVST, we do not need to config portfast.

No you still need it for port connect to host.
