STACK -VLAN

hi all,

i am facing an issue. I've got two cisco 4503 to be configured as VTP Server mode. All vlans are created on this switches. I've got a stack of 3 cisco 3750 IOS 12.2(25) SEE2. and this stack has two gig link one connected to each 4503 switch. when i say show vlan on this stack i can see all the vlans. But problem is that switch 3 is become a master and if i congifure one port on switch 1 lets say fast 1/0/1 to be member of vlan xyz, the port will never work for this vlan or any vlan from vtp domain. If a confgure port 1 from switch 3 i.e. fast 3/0/1 and make it member of xyz vlan, all seems to work fine.

Hi Adil,

can you make sure that switch-1 is working when it is individual with the vlan configured? u can simply erase the configuration & make it as an standalone switch rather than a stack switch.

Can anyone explain ,whats the need of Stacking??at which seies of switches present??

How stacking works??
